JOB TITLE: Earned Value Program Analyst Intermediate

LOCATION:Huntsville, AL
REPORTS TO:SABG Program Manager
FLSA STATUS:Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring a full-time Earned Value Program Analyst Intermediate to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Support a major DoD program as an program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance reporting
Execute tasks related to cost and schedule integration, baseline reviews, and/or schedule analysis related to complex weapon systems, with minimal supervision or direction
Work member of a multi-disciplined team and solve complex problems
Review and summarize new financial management policies and guidance
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Capable of comprehending personnel space management and interior design to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS in Related Field and 7 years experience; or MA/MS in Related Field and 4 years experience; both including 3 years experience on DoD Acquisition Programs
Certified as a PMP; EVP; or similar industry certifications; prior DAWIA Level II Program or Financial Management Certification, or equivalent training
4 years' experience in a DoD or Industry program management and integration environment providing strategic level analysis, communications, and staff coordination
Minimum of 3 years of EVM Policy experience
Possesses moderate levels of communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal skills, organizational, teamwork, and presentation skills for complex financial topics
Capable of working independently to review, process, and formulate programmatic products
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
