Our team has a need for a Project Engineer (PE) to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for performing routine aspects of civil engineering assignments to include preparation of engineering calculations, engineering reports, construction documents and subsequently providing familiarity with programs, staff, and operating procedures of the Company.

Our team has a need for a Project Engineer (PE) to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for performing routine aspects of civil engineering assignments to include preparation of engineering calculations, engineering reports, construction documents and subsequently providing familiarity with programs, staff, and operating procedures of the Company.
What you will do:
- Perform civil engineering design calculations; develop construction plans utilizing AutoCAD software; and prepare construction specifications and other technical reports for public infrastructure and utility projects.
- Work within a team to produce engineering calculations for development of documents that achieve our client's goals and objectives while meeting schedule commitments and budget requirements.
- Represent the Company in professional, civic, and political organizations and activities.
- Develop and deepen relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Represent the Company in client meetings when required.

What you bring:
- An undergraduate or master's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
- Texas EIT Certification or Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D Designer preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize projects.
- Ability to learn local and state design standards and procedures.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Adapt new concepts quickly while working under pressure.
