Job Title: Certified Scrub Technician
Job Specialty: Scrub Technologist

Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: ORT Certification
Certifications: BCLS required
Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program; Current OR experience; Ability to communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff, and sales and repair representatives
Job Description:
- Responsible for the safe, sterile set-up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases.
- Gather all necessary instrumentation and supplies as noted on surgeons' pick sheets.
- Maintain a conscientious approach to procedures and show capability in handling assignments under pressure.
- Perform clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Additional Requirements:
- Holiday coverage required.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
