POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs & Communications, you will be pivotal in managing and executing our government relations, and corporate communication strategies. You will work closely with various business units and stakeholders to ensure a positive corporate presence and reputation while supporting our brand objectives.

As the Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs & Communications, you will be pivotal in managing and executing our government relations, and corporate communication strategies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Government Relations & Public Affairs:
- Lead Quebec government relations efforts, focusing on regulatory aspects and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and regulatory bodies to advance the organization's interests.
- Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and provide strategic counsel to senior leadership to advance our government relationship goals.
- Communications and Media Relations:
- Create and implement corporate positioning strategies that build public support and enhance the company's reputation.
- Oversee the execution of regional commercial communications programs and ensure alignment with national strategies.
- Develop and execute regional campaigns that enhance brand profile and support business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets developing annual media relations strategies.
- Manage corporate communications, including issues management and crisis communications.
- Support and coordinate external communications programs and crisis management efforts.
- Provide counsel to commercial groups and other departments to ensure a positive corporate presence and brand perception.
- Manage responses to customer and consumer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Contribute to strategic planning for zone communications and tailor national strategies to regional needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication through analytics and post-execution evaluations, incorporating lessons learned into future initiatives.
- Partner with communications agencies to inspire and execute creative strategies that build brand reputation and impact.
- Budget Management:
- Manage and optimize relevant budgets, ensuring effective allocation and utilization to support strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 13-15years of experience in corporate affairs, communications, or government relations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships.
- . Sr. level Quebec government experience.
- Fluent in both French (QC) and English.
- Strong understanding of media relations and crisis management.
- Excellent strategic thinking, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, media, and community partners.
- Experience in managing budgets and evaluating communication effectiveness through analytics.
- Ability to provide innovative solutions and adapt to changing circumstances.
