We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at our luxury hotel/restaurant. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, team member relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This individual will play a key role in supporting and promoting a positive work culture and ensuring the well-being and professional growth of our team members.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at our luxury hotel/restaurant. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, team member relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This individual will play a key role in supporting and promoting a positive work culture and ensuring the well-being and professional growth of our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement human resources policies, procedures, and programs that align with the hotel/restaurant's goals and values, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions, to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage team member relations issues, including conflict resolution, coaching, and grievances, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all team members.
- Implement performance management systems and processes, including performance appraisals, goal setting, and development plans, to support team member growth and development.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives, including orientation & onboarding, skills training, and leadership development, to enhance team member skills and competencies and support career advancement.
- Administer team member benefits programs and perks, including health insurance, retirement plans, engagement efforts, and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date team member records using HRIS, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy laws.
- Provide guidance and support to department managers and supervisors on human resources-related matters, including staffing, performance management, and team member relations.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and trends, such as team member satisfaction, turnover rates, and recommend strategies to address areas of concern and improve overall team member engagement and retention.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and regulations, and ensure policies and practices are updated accordingly to maintain compliance.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the hospitality industry or luxury hotel/restaurant sector.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience interpreting and applying them in a practical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team and influence positive change.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
