FUNCTIONAL DUTIES:
- Develop and communicate the nursing department's strategic vision and goals in alignment with the overall organizational mission and objectives.
- Collaborate with other executives to integrate nursing strategies into the broader healthcare strategy.
- Evaluate and improve patient care deliver systems
- Establish and uphold high standards of clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance within the nursing department.
- Implement and monitor evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practice, healthcare trends, and emerging technologies.
- Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of nursing services, including staffing, patient care delivery, and resource allocation.
- Ensure efficient and effective workflow and communication among nursing staff.
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration
- Recruit train and manage nursing and support staff
- Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of nursing personnel.
- Implement professional development and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff.
- Foster collaboration and communication among healthcare teams, including physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
- Work closely with other executives to promote an integrated and patient-centered care approach.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree in nursing or a related field; Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) is a plus.
- Current and unrestricted nursing license.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulation and accreditation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extensive experience in nursing leadership, including roles such as Director of Nursing or Vice President of Nursing.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and patient safety.
