Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Collaborating with and assisting in-house counsel in the implementation of discovery obligations
Assisting in-house counsel in the coordination and management of discovery in active litigation, collaborating with in-house counsel to determine case-specific discovery needs and make recommendations on response timeline
Working with internal stakeholders to coordinate electronic and paper discovery collection and review of documents, and collate and deliver discovery materials in an appropriate format to clients, customers, and vendors
Working with outside counsel to perform search term iterations for data culling and export
Working with external vendors to facilitate the export of electronic data for storage, review, and production
Aiding internal stakeholders to ensure that document preservation and collection is completed within best practices
Maintaining accurate documentation for the collections of ESI for a request
Performing quality control of data collection processes
Assisting with the implementation of technical solutions for preservation and collection of data
Performing timely handling of highly sensitive issues and materials related to all areas of operation within the organization. Monitoring files and escalating issues requiring attorney involvement
Analyzing contracts, reports, medical reports, financial data, depositions, discovery, investigative and other documents, preparing summaries of same as requested
Collaboratively working with legal staff on various litigation management projects
Maintaining internal records in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Required Skills and Abilities
Highly detailed and organized, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and consistently delivering good results; excellent deadline management
Proficient with Relativity and/or similar eDiscovery platforms
Experience with Microsoft products, including advanced knowledge of Excel, and Powerpoint
Strong analytical and research skills, including knowledge and experience using legal research and court-docketing tools such as WestlawTM and PACER
Internally and externally customer focused
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize and balance a variety of assignments and deadlines
Desired Skills and Abilities
Preferred experience working with eDiscovery vendors to manage discovery in complex, multi-party litigation
Preferred experience overseeing discovery in complex litigation
Education/Experience
Bachelors degree preferred
Minimum of five years of related experience (e.g., in litigation support, eDiscovery, or paralegal with active involvement in document collection, analysis, export and assistance with all stages of discovery)
Experience working with IT (or similar role) with interest in working in the eDiscovery field a plus

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$95,900 - $129,500/year

- Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
