Description du poste

Ce poste appartient au dpartement Digital and Data Service de notre client, dont la mission est de fournir des outils informatiques en adoptant les pratiques DevOps.

Cette quipe est rpartie entre la France, L'Asie et Montral. Pour assurer les meilleures pratiques en matire de fiabilit, de rsilience et de performance des infrastructures hbergeant nos applications, une escouade SRE a t cre. Cette quipe se consacre l'automatisation du provisionnement des infrastructures cloud, la surveillance de la plateforme, la migration des infrastructures existantes et diverses initiatives visant amliorer les performances des services et rduire le nombre d'incidents.

Support et adoption :

• Assurer la stabilit et la disponibilit des services et outils de l'usine logicielle
• Exploiter les services dans le respect des rgles de scurit
• Communiquer efficacement sur les incidents et les versions prvues
• Aider les quipes d'application adopter les meilleures pratiques pour industrialiser leurs pipelines d'intgration continue (CI) et de livraison continue (CD)
• Accompagner les quipes applicatives dans l'utilisation des outils CI/CD mis disposition

Dveloppement et volution de l'offre :

• Dvelopper des prototypes et raliser des preuves de concept (POC) afin de valider de nouveaux outils pour l'usine logicielle Installer, mettre niveau et entretenir les outils et les nouvelles instances
• Rduire la charge de travail du support par une automatisation accrue et l'utilisation de chatbots
• Contribuer l'volution de l'offre sur le cloud public Microsoft Azure
• Dfinir et mettre en uvre des KPI de surveillance pour tablir des SLO/SLA/SLI et surveiller la performance des applications

Qualifications

• Matrise de Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git et des outils de monitoring
• Au moins 5 ans d'exprience dans le dveloppement ou l'administration d'outils de Software Factory
• Capacit comprendre les outils internes, prioriser les tches, suivre les actions en cours et tenir les parties prenantes informes de tout retard
• Capacit proposer des solutions pragmatiques qui rpondent aux besoins des projets de l'quipe tout en respectant les normes de qualit
• Solides comptences en communication orale et crite, y compris en matire de prsentation (capacit prsenter des outils CI/CD
• Collaboration et esprit d'quipe : Capacit travailler en harmonie avec une quipe internationale

*Horaire de travail hybride : 3 fois par semaine au bureau du client situ au centre ville de Montral.

Position: DevOps SRE Specialist

Job Description

This position is part of our client's Digital and Data Service department, which aims to provide IT tools while adopting DevOps practices.

The team is distributed across France, Asia, and Montreal. To ensure best practices in reliability, resilience, and performance for the infrastructure hosting our applications, an SRE squad has been established. This team focuses on automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, platform monitoring, migrating existing infrastructures, and various initiatives aimed at improving service performance and reducing the number of incidents.

Support and Adoption:

• Ensure the stability and availability of software factory services and tools.
• Operate services in compliance with security policies.
• Effectively communicate incidents and planned releases.
• Help application teams adopt best practices for industrializing their Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
• Guide application teams in using the available CI/CD tools.

Development and Evolution of Offerings:

• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept (POC) to validate new software factory tools.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain tools and new instances.
• Reduce support workload through increased automation and chatbot utilization.
• Contribute to the evolution of offerings on the Microsoft Azure public cloud.
• Define and implement monitoring KPIs to establish SLOs/SLA/SLIs and track application performance.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing or managing Software Factory tools.
• Autonomy: Able to independently lead user meetings, represent the department to application managers, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ability to understand internal tools, prioritize tasks, track ongoing actions, and keep stakeholders informed of any delays.
• Capable of proposing pragmatic solutions that address team project needs while adhering to quality standards.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities (e.g., presenting CI/CD tools).
• Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work effectively with an international team.

*This is a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days a week at the client's downtown Montreal office.
