Specialty Physician - Pain Management

Are you a compassionate, skilled physician with a dedication to Pain Management? EPIC Health is seeking an experienced Specialty Physician to join our multidisciplinary team, where you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care for patients experiencing acute and chronic pain. As a multi-specialty practice, we're committed to a holistic, patient-centered approach to healthcare, spanning all life stages from infancy to senior years. Our collaborative network includes Physicians, Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists, Physical Therapists, Pharmacists, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to accurately diagnose pain conditions using specialized expertise in pain management.
  • Treatment Planning and Execution: Develop personalized care plans and manage referrals, admissions, and prescriptions while coordinating essential services.
  • Pain Management Procedures: Perform advanced procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and other targeted interventions to alleviate pain and improve patient functionality.
  • Patient Education: Provide guidance to patients and families on pain management strategies, including lifestyle modifications, exercise, and nutrition.
  • Ongoing Care and Adjustments: Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal pain relief and quality of life.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with our multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases and contribute to the continuous enhancement of pain management practices.
  • Professional Development: Pursue ongoing education and maintain certifications to stay at the forefront of pain management advancements.
  • Patient Advocacy and Privacy: Protect patient confidentiality, respect personal choices, and consider social and cultural factors in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications
  • Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Board certification in Pain Management (required).
  • Experience: Extensive experience in pain management is preferred, with strong clinical skills and proficiency in a variety of procedures.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
    Collaboration: Proven ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced team environment.
