About the Role

We are looking for a proactive employee to provide strategic direction for LAUNCH programs and services, ensuring operational success.

Responsibilities include:
  • Budgeting and maintaining fiscal viability of all services, including monitoring contractual obligations for all funders
  • Hiring, training, and supervising middle management team
  • Program development and implementation, as well as oversight of all services to clients
  • Creation and implementation of all policies, procedures, and curriculum to ensure regulatory and quality compliance for all programs
  • Development and implementation of a system to evaluate the skill, experience, and professional development needs of all staff
  • Seeking and exploring new opportunities to expand programs and services


Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Services Special Education or management related field required. Master's degree in Education or Special education, preferred. 10 years' experience working with individuals of various disabilities required. 5 years' of team management experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable success and program growth required. Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with supervisor, peers, and subordinates. Success in roles requiring execution of multiple tasks while responding to multiple priorities.

Other required skills include: self-started, self-disciplined, proven ability to work efficiently, flexibility, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, experience in measuring outcomes of projects, experience with governmental mandated regulations, knowledge of web-based data base systems, technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, active listening, time management, critical thinking.

Conditions of Employment

Must possess a valid driver's license and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
