Job Profile
JOB SUMMARY: The CT Manager is responsible for the staff and activities of the CT department while functioning within a matrix organizational structure. The CT Manager directly reports to the Director of Imaging Services with dotted line responsibility to the physicians and administrators. The CT Managers direct reports include the CT Technologists and clerical staff of the division. The CT Manager will complete performance evaluations and will participate in the hiring and disciplinary action processes of their staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: ARRT Certification, CT Certification, Texas State License
2. Work Experience (Years and Area): 5-8 years CT clinical; 3-5 years CT supervisory
3. Management Experience (Years and Area): 3-5 years CT supervisory/management; preferably in an academic environment
4. Equipment Operated: CT scanner, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Bilingual Skills Required: No
Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports)
