Position Summary:
Experienced and motivated Training/Communications Manager to lead our sales training initiatives for a dynamic T-Mobile Authorized Retailer. This role is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training programs to ensure all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. The Sales Training Manager will conduct both virtual and in-person training sessions, travel to various markets for on-site training, and maintain a continuous flow of updates and resources that enhance organizational effectiveness. This individual will also manage the communication of performance metrics and support sales performance management across all field levels.

Essential Functions
- Planning, developing, and implementing training programs for new and existing team members.
- Working with sales team members individually or as a group to provide coaching and mentoring.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and the performance of sales team members.
- Identifying areas where sales employees need improvement
- Developing educational materials such as videos and case studies
- Keeping up with industry trends and ensuring sales staff have the latest knowledge and skills
- Communicating with managers and implementing feedback and performance management support
- Work with the company's management to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees
- Partner with leadership to identify, create, and deliver organizational communication to all business channels
- Routinely visits training locations to inspect and improve learning experience and identify additional training needs.
- This position supports a retail sales organization so weekend hours and travel are required.
Requirements and skills
- Very Good knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Excel is required.
- Very Good knowledge of virtual presentation platforms (Adobe Connect, WebEx, Zoom) and experience with in person and virtual Instructor lead facilitation.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and adjust quickly in short timeframes.
- Proven work experience as a Sales Trainer or similar role
- Experience in a sales position is a plus
- Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
- Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Solid presentation abilities
- Additional certification in training is a plus
Education
- Bachelors' Degree.
- 5 years of instructional design and delivery experience in lieu of degree.
