Job Description

The Vascular Consultant role requires strong venous clinical acumen and parallel business aptitude that can excel as an individual contributor as well as in a team environment. Primary responsibilities will include developing new accounts and physician users of Argon Medical Device products as well as expanding current usage within existing accounts to meet and exceed sales quota. The Vascular Consultant will sell and promote assigned products within a defined geographic location.

Products
  • You will be responsible for Argon's entire bag of products with over 3,000 SKUs. Some of their top products are:
    • CLEANER Vac Thrombectomy System- Newly launched Sept 2024
    • Option Elite IVC Filter
    • Cleaner Mechanical Thrombectomy
    • TLAB Transjugular Liver Biopsy
    • Skater drainage system
    • BioPince Ultra Full Core Biopsy Device
    • JAWZ heart biopsy forceps
    • Scorpion TIPS kit


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years medical device sales - preferably with Vascular Surgeons and/or Cardiologists in the peripheral vascular interventional space.
  • Prior experience selling and/or supporting medical devices preferred.

Skills
  • Highly organized and has very effective time management skills.
  • Highly customer focused.
  • Excellent presentations skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including strong listening skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Office, as well as networks and internet applications.
  • Valid Driver's license.

Job Requirements
  • Adequately build procedural and clinical product knowledge to inservice or certify physicians and staff on the usage of Argon products.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to hospital personnel and physicians.
  • Observe live procedures in the lab and operating room of accounts to gain insight into the specific preferences of each physician and staff member involved in the procedures.
  • Work with appropriate Argon Medical Device personnel to help establish pricing packages that will address each individual customer/IDN needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
  • Respond in a timely fashion to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing a creatives and feasible solution, including working with appropriate Argon Medical Device personnel (Clinical, Marketing, Contracts) to find an optimal solution for the customer.

Compensation Information

  • Base Salary: $115,000
  • Variable: $125,000
  • Total income: $240,000 + Uncapped Earnings
