We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Advisor to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in both relationship management and business development within the firm. They will manage a select group of current clients, delivering exceptional service and supporting the financial planning process. The primary goal of these relationships is to transition clients to a Service Advisor, allowing the candidate to focus on driving business development efforts.

In this role, the candidate will ensure that meeting preparation and financial planning strategies are executed effectively, while also identifying opportunities to increase client engagement and expand service offerings. Strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of financial strategies, and a commitment to consistently delivering high-quality service are essential.

Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for actively pursuing business growth through targeted marketing efforts, cross-selling BGM services, and enhancing the firm's brand recognition.

This position offers a base salary of $75,000-$150,000 along with unlimited bonus potential based on meeting and exceeding new revenue goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Identify and engage new qualified clients
  • Identify and capture share of wallet from existing clients, and request client referrals
  • Lead projects to enhance marketing and lead generation strategies
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key business contacts and centers of influence (COIs)
  • Foster a sales culture that engages all employees in the sales process, while maintaining a service-oriented approach.
  • Ensure all client interactions and financial recommendations adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to provide up-to-date advice
  • Contributes to the leadership of the group by mentoring Service Advisors and Paraplanners
  • Identifies opportunities during client conversations to generate business development opportunities

Client Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships proactively, acting as the first point of contact
  • Answer routine client questions and service requests independently
  • Develop client strategy or advice independently, with decision-making authority
  • Consistently find opportunities to build deeper rapport with clients
  • Confidently discuss firm value proposition, service offerings, and deliverables
  • Competently discuss investment strategies

Team Responsibilities:
  • Conduct meetings with clients, being sure to incorporate the Paraplanner or Service Advisor into the meeting when appropriate
  • Develop client strategy
  • Maintain strong working relationships with team members from all divisions
  • Take the lead on teaching topics of interest internally
  • Mentor Service Advisors and Paraplanners on their career trajectory
  • Grow business lines and work with prospects. Drive revenue to the firm

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in a lead advisor role, with a demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring new clients and driving significant revenue growth
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial planning concepts, investment products, financial regulations, and compliance standards
  • Certified Financial Planning (CFP) certification
  • Experience with industry-related programs such as Charles Schwab, Salesforce, MoneyGuidePro, Tamarac, and Holistiplan is considered a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts
  • Highly motivated, takes initiative, and works independently while also collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and anticipating potential problems
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities
  • Ethical and professional conduct in all client interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • Continuously expand knowledge of financial planning strategies, investment products, and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of financial advice-related compliance and the financial planning industry
