Location: Hybrid / Frisco, TX (Local Candidates Only)
Duration: 6-12 Months

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP IBP CPI-DS Integration Consultant to join our team. This position demands extensive expertise in implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Cloud Platform Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL processes using CPI-DS for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

As a consultant, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, design tailored integration solutions, and ensure successful project delivery while collaborating with internal technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP CPI-DS.
• Translate client business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP CPI-DS, including the development of integration flows, mappings, and scripts.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide post-implementation support and maintenance for SAP CPI-DS solutions.
• Keep abreast of emerging SAP technologies and integration best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in integration strategies, API governance, and B2B integrations across enterprise systems.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, leveraging REST/OData, IDOC, Events, Proxies, BAPI/RFC, and EDI-based interfaces.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC/S4HANA, SAP BW, and SAP IBP systems.
• Hands-on experience with integration scenarios using SAP BTP capabilities such as Integration Advisor, Integration Flow, and Event Mesh (knowledge of Advanced Event Mesh preferred).
• Expertise in on-premise-to-cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and cloud-to-on-premise integrations.

SAP CPI-DS Expertise

• Strong knowledge of SAP tables, views, extractors, and functions.
• Ability to design and develop CI-DS dataflows, leveraging predefined templates and custom configurations.
• Proficiency in creating Datastores, managing CI-DS Agents, and handling scheduling jobs using CI-DS Scheduler and Application Jobs in IBP.
• Experience in promoting tasks/datastores in CI-DS production environments.
• Skilled in using web services (RFC, ODATA, SOAP, REST) for integrations.

Development and Optimization

• Hands-on experience in writing technical specifications, test cases, and scripts.
• Expertise in performance optimization, pre-load and post-load scripting, and error handling in dataflows.
• Proficiency in developing dataflows using ABAP transformations/custom ABAP (preferred).

IBP & SAC Integration

• Comprehensive knowledge of IBP folders (Master Data, Timeseries, Calendar, Calculation Folders).
• Experience in Excel IBP Add-On for data validation and checks in planning books/views.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in designing application templates and integrating B2B solutions with external partners, suppliers, and customers.
• Certification in SAP CPI-DS or IBP is a plus.
