DevOps Lead (with Architectural Responsibilities)

Activities:

This role requires a seasoned technical professional who can effectively manage delivery and lead a team of junior and senior members. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in DevOps practices and architectural principles, with the ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of DevOps solutions, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards.
• Participate in market pursuits and assist in developing strategies to respond to client needs.
• Create and build demos related to DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Manage a diverse team, distributing roles and responsibilities effectively.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project scope and work breakdown structure.
• Provide insights into architectural trade-offs and assist clients in making informed decisions regarding optimal solutions.
• Communicate effectively with middle management and deliver presentations internally within the client.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.

Requirements:
Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience in managing architectural components of projects.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for package management.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practical understanding of SaaS and DaaS concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud networking.
• Experience with Git and GitHub is preferred, especially in relation to CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Azure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
• Proven experience in a DevOps leadership role, with a solid technical background.
• Ability to think critically and understand the big picture while managing detailed tasks.
