BASED ON YOUR ROLE AND TEAM DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Partner with stakeholders at all levels within the organization supporting campaign development and proposal submittal.
Understand and respond to customer requirements appearing on Requests for Proposals (RFP's).
Responsible for assessing customer's strategic capability gap requirements and advocating advanced program technology solutions.

Basic Qualifications
Ability to develop focused market strategies and support the development of the respective long range plans
Understanding of the Department of Defense budgeting and acquisition processes.
Capable of working within your segment of the capture process (Business Development through Capture Management)
Excellent relationship builder with demonstrated ability to team across functions and businesses
Ability to Build strong internal and external networks and teams
Public Affairs Basic Qualifications :
Experience in Public affairs and relations while serving in the US Military and experience with one or more of the following skill areas:
Media relations, marketing communications, employee communications and community relations, as well as an understanding of visual communications disciplines
Public relations campaigns and how to create and execute a communications plan
Understanding of the relationship between the US Government and it's agencies with Lockheed Martin as a strategic partner and supplier
Desired skills
active US government security clearance will be a benefit, but is not required for all positions.
Experience in supporting and/or managing and preparing DoD aircraft and aircraft-related proposals that vary in type, size and complexity
Demonstrated business acumen and ability to anticipate needs to drive success
Public Affairs Desired skills :
Prior US Military service and active US government security clearance.
Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, teamwork, energy and flexibility
Social media, digital marketing and web experience
Typical military discipline: Navy MC, 46A, 46R, 46Q, and 3NXXX

Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $57,800 - $110,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
