The Hawaii Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapiolani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the states largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.

In this role, you will serve as the leader for physicians and advanced practice providers within Hospital Medicine and provide clinical leadership, coordination, and collaboration amongst HPHMG providers across Hawaii Pacific Health or its affiliates. The Chief of Hospital Medicine oversees the work of their respective HPH Division and provides key leadership into the development and implementation of system wide clinical standards, clinical care coordination, input into the strategic planning process and program development, physician recruiting and retention, and promotion of physician professionalism and well-being.

Minimum Qualifications:Degree in Medicine or related field. Current Hawaii license to practice medicine. Managerial experience in healthcare administration/medical management or equivalent. Extensive prior clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration. Completion of Physician Leadership Training.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.

Starting Hourly Rate: 153.84
