Description:

Your Tasks:
  • Handle multiple, often fast-track equipment rebuild/repair/modification projects in the field of environmental air pollution control for customers in diverse industries
  • Perform project and process engineering, generate and maintain the schedule, and forecast and maintain all costs and scope changes
  • Manage all communication with the customer
  • Develop mechanical scopes of work and requisition mechanical equipment and subcontractors
  • Working closely with the Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Manufacturing, Field Operations and Service departments to ensure successful project completion
  • Act as single point-of-contact for all communication with customer, including contract terms, scope, schedule, and warranty
  • Review customer specifications and Drr proposal
  • Confirm project scope versus originally estimated costs
  • Generate project budget
  • Generate and manage all phases of Project Schedule including engineering, equipment procurement, subcontractor procurement, fabrication, installation, start-up, and handover
  • Generate Project Expediting Report
  • Manage multidiscipline/cross-functional project team to ensure schedule, cost and scope adherence
  • Responsible for process engineering and specification of mechanical components, including fans, burner/combustion systems, and valve systems, necessary for updated or modified system function
  • Utilize SAP, air pollution control, industrial fan applications, combustion systems, and electrical hardwire drawings to perform duties
  • Generate mechanical Bills of Equipment suitable for equipment purchase
  • Generate mechanical fabrication and installation scopes of work
  • Revise the system Sequence of Operation to reflect system modifications
  • Manage all subcontracts including engineering, fabrication, and installation
  • Maintain contact with internal and external Sales representatives for work planned in their areas
  • Track and forecast project costs in preparation for formal monthly cost reporting
  • Define, estimate, and interface with customer for all project changes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering, fabrication, installation, system start-up, and performance issues
  • Manage the creation and final review of updated O/M documents
  • Perform project closeout, including interpretation of customer specification, proposal language and applicable regulations
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Implement the Drr Corporate Project Management Manual and Quality procedures
  • Manage the project warranty account and resolve warranty related issues.

  • Salary: $127,812 per year;

Your Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree)
  • Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Mechanical Engineer, as a Project Engineer, as a Project Manager, or in a related occupation
  • Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: SAP, air pollution control, industrial fan application, combustion systems, and electrical hardwire drawings
  • Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience
