Alberta Health Services, Edmonton Zone Department of Addiction &#CD# Mental Health in partnership with the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine &#CD# Dentistry, Department of Psychiatry, is inviting applications from psychiatrists with expertise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Our multi-disciplinary teams consisting of psychiatry, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, social work, education, and speech language pathology provide assistance for more than 1.4 million people in Edmonton Metropolitan Region.
The CA psychiatrist in the Stollery Outpatient Clinic will provide consultation and follow up services, and provide collaborative care, for referrals from pediatricians and within our acute care services. This position is supported by nursing, administrative assistant and social worker.
An interest in the education of residents and students is highly desirable as the successful candidate is expected to apply for a Clinical Faculty Appointment in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Alberta.

Candidates must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Psychiatry and preferably have subspecialty certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. S/he must also be licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
