Job description:
The role's primary purpose is to perform B2B eCommerce Category Management and Website Operations functions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding and passion for data and analytics, financial analysis, business planning, promotion planning, merchandising strategy/execution and customer experience, and be able to articulate ideas that build and improve processes, operations, and systems. The role will work closely with sales teams, internal eCommerce colleagues and cross-functional partners in Mobile, Display, TV, Memory and Appliance product lines to align promotions, sales deals and merchandising strategies, perform functional and operational tasks about the website and site merchandising, and deliver on data and reporting requirements for planning and post-analysis.
Responsibilities:
Business planning and analysis of performance, achievement to targets and gap closure plans
Promotion planning informed by data and analysis, maintain promotional calendar documentation for internal consumption
Supporting B2B eCommerce sales agents with deal structures for customer negotiations on ad hoc basis
P&L analysis of all promotion and deal planning to drive profitable growth KPI
Active reporting and insights to drive optimization during promotions and wrap-up analysis to document results and learnings, regular delivery of numbers and findings
Drive merchandising strategy/execution and customer experience for promotions based on impact, inventory and business priorities, coordinating activities with cross-functional teams
Work with inventory manager to ensure alignment on promotion planning and merchandising activities
Identify process improvement opportunities and engage with cross-functional team to successfully implement new operational solutions
Working in operational tools to set up promotional and other activities
Support daily operations maintenance, liaising with product, engineering, customer service, fulfillment, etc. teams on issue resolution and task achievement
Background:
Bachelor's degree required
Data Oriented with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to communicate with internal and external parties at all levels
3 -5 years of relevant experience in eCommerce category management, website operations and site merchandising
Ecommerce platform and catalog management required
Demonstrated ability to work with numbers, financials, P&L and various datasets
Expertise in Microsoft Excel formulas, pivot tables, data stitching and mathematical analysis
Strong understanding of current technologies and systems that support the digital ecosystem
Strong project or program management experience with attention to documentation, tracking and details
Aptitude for organization, flexibility, and producing results
Strong customer-centric focus/ability to anticipate and react to user needs
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to achieve necessary results
Demonstration of innovation and initiative; always looking at improving the customer experience and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help wherever necessary
Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, partners, ecosystem and operations
