Fort McMurray is seeking a physician to support the Northern Lights Hospitalist program.
The successful candidate will be recruited for the community of Fort McMurray.
Duties include, but not be limited to:
Reside in and have as his/her primary residence in the community of Fort McMurray.
Establish and maintain a 1.0 FTE community based practice within the community of Fort McMurry.
Provide 1.0 FTE to maintain the Hospitalist schedule.
Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities; interest in management.
Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned.

Preference will be given to applicants who do not require, or have completed, the CPSA Practice Readiness Assessment (PRA-AB).

Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or proof of Eligibility for Alberta Licensure required (to be included with application).

- CCFP Certification (desired)
- CCFP
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (desired)
- Must have current acute care hospitalist experience (rural setting)
