As a Lead Strategic Plan Specialist here at Honeywell Smart Energy and Thermal Solutions (SETS), you will play a crucial role in leading and driving Honeywell's strategic planning initiatives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. Your strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to influence and inspire others will be essential in contributing to the growth and success of Honeywell.

You will report directly to our Sr Director Strategic Planning and you'll work out of our Houston location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization's strategic direction, alignment, execution, performance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, innovation, communication, budget management, cross-functional collaboration, long-term sustainability, performance improvement, employee development, and competitive advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans (STRAP process)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organic and inorganic growth
Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities
Monitor and evaluate industry trends and competitive landscape
Prepare and present STRAP plans and updates to senior leadership

YOU MUST HAVE
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or related roles
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
Experience in strategic planning in a global organization
Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
Strong research and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
