Position Overview:
The Manager of Revenue Cycle will be responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle, collaborating with Finance/Accounting to ensure smooth processes and accurate data for Revenues and its related areas (collections, AR, DSO). The incumbent in this role performs essential planning, operational and administrative duties in support of the organizational capabilities on revenue cycle, including analyzing and improving current revenue cycle systems, integrating acquired clinics, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to maximize efficiency and scalability of the department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, project management skills, personal initiative and experience in healthcare revenue cycle management (insurance and self-paid patients).

Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Cycle Integration: Assist with the integration of revenue cycle processes for newly acquired clinics, assessing current processes and systems of the company acquired and ensuring a seamless transition and adherence to IVIRMA standards.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current revenue cycle processes and implement best practices, optimizing workflows and enhancing overall efficiency and scalability.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with the Finance and Accounting departments to provide insights and support in revenue cycle management, reporting, and forecasting.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Analyze accounts receivable (AR) performance, identifying trends and areas of improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize collections and reduce AR days outstanding.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle operations, and drive initiatives to improve outcomes.
- Compliance: Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and security requirements and ensure compliance to Meaningful Use standards, HIPPA, etc.
- Training & Leadership: Provide leadership and training to staff involved in the revenue cycle process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Continuously evaluate the team structure and skill sets to ensure it aligns with business process, tactical planning and strategic vision
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a strong understanding of billing, coding, AR management, project management and compliance.
- Proven experience in process improvement and leading initiatives to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
- Health Information Management (HIM) experience
- Must have experience managing complex revenue cycle and previous leadership experience required
- Familiarity with revenue cycle integrations for acquired clinics or multi-site healthcare organizations is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in revenue cycle management systems and related software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
