As Chief Engineer at Yurbban Hospitality Group, your role will be crucial in supervising and ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of our boutique properties in the heart of Miami Beach. You will lead the maintenance team, ensuring high standards that exceed guest expectations.

What will your key responsibilities be?

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team in all repair and facility upkeep tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance projects to ensure efficient resource use.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, creating a secure working environment.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, ensuring their availability.
• Oversee contractor activities and maintain relationships with key vendors.
• Collaborate with other departments to address needs and coordinate specific tasks.

What are we looking for in you?

• Technical experience: At least 2 years in a supervisory maintenance role, preferably in hospitality or a similar industry.
• Solid technical knowledge in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Organizational and leadership skills: Ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
• Proactivity and problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of tools and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Flexibility: Availability to work shifts, weekends, and handle emergencies.
• Proficiency in English. Additional languages are a plus.
