Summary
Responsible for external tax reporting and accounting. Ensures that all transactions are made in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and federal, state, and Baylor College of Medicine guidelines. Reports to the Director of External Reporting and Tax Compliance.

Job Duties
- Develops and prepares tax reports and payments to include monthly GAAP financial statements.
- Assists with developing new and improved processes related to GAAP research and analysis.
- Participates in tax compilation filings.
- Prepares for and participates in complex audit requests and coordinates with external auditors.
- Ensures compliance with external and internal control guidelines relevant to tax processes which include document retention according to legal requirements.
- Provides tax research and analysis.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Experience in SAP.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
