Description:
We are seeking a mid-senior level, experienced Architectural Construction Administrator for wood-framed construction projects for an architectural firm in their Plano, TX office
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend project kick off meetings
Apply lessons learned form other projects and share with team of architects
Observe the construction work for conformance to drawings and specifications.
Process the contractor's shop drawings, product data, and samples.
Review the results of construction tests and inspections.
Evaluate contractor request for payments.
Handle requests for changes during construction.
Address and resolve claims brought by the owner or contractor.
Administer the completion and closeout process for the owner.
Monitor post construction warranty requests.
Write monthly reports.
Respond to RFI's
Monitor budget conformity
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or Construction from an accredited University is preferred.
5+ years of relevant professional experience in CA
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Negotiating and interpreting contractual agreements
Working knowledge of Bluebeam
Be able to manage the Specs using specmasterlink
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Wood framed construction experience preferred but not required
