Temporary Program Manager (Hybrid Remote in Seward, AK)

Seward Community Health Center is seeking a Program Manager for a temporary assignment through June 2025 to support our grant funded marketing/public outreach campaign at our health center located in beautiful Seward, Alaska. This position will work independently to develop, implement, and manage our grant funded vaccine hesitancy reduction program from start to finish focusing on marketing, outreach, community events, and grant management.

Term of Employment: ASAP to June 28, 2025

Wage: $40-50.00 per hour (DOE), eligible for overtime.

Location: HybridRemote in Seward, AK

Bonus: $2,500 upon completion

Sample Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate program activities, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance program impact.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and materials to ensure program efficiency.
  • Contract with a public relations firm that will help develop a strategy and content for reducing vaccine hesitancy.
  • In collaboration with public relations/marketing firm and the RN Supervisor, develop educational materials for distribution, targeting vaccine hesitancy and increasing access by underserved populations.
  • Work with the RN Supervisor and Clinic Manager to enhance the ability of SCHC to administer and educate patients about Alaska Vaccination Assessment Program (AVAP).
  • Conduct outreach activities at community health fairs and vaccine clinics; distribute educational material and packets.
  • Track and report program performance metrics and outcomes monthly.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Requirements (all levels)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field required.
  • Four years of Program Management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Pre-employment drug screening, TB test, required vaccinations per policy, background check and reference check.
