Description:

The Director of Psychopharmacology at Lynn Community Health Center (LCHC) will play a critical role in enhancing and expanding psychopharmacology services across the health center. Reporting directly to the Chief Behavioral Health Officer (CBHO), this position will be responsible for the administrative oversight, development, and continuous quality improvement of team-based psychopharmacology care.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CBHO and senior management to continually assess and evolve psychopharmacology programming to align with LCHC's strategic goals and community needs.
Work collaboratively with the Associate Director of Psychopharmacology to support cohesive service delivery, program development, and team-based workflows.
Contribute to the growth of the Telepsychiatry program, expanding patient access care for partnering Community Health Centers.
Engage with external stakeholders to support training and fellowship programs, fostering partnerships that enhance the quality of psychopharmacology services and staff development.
Conduct regular needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and enhance psychopharmacology practices across the health center.
Lead and organize psychopharmacology training sessions and educational programs for health center providers and staff, focusing on best practices in psychopharmacological treatment.
Develop educational resources to promote safe prescribing and the management of potential adverse drug events.
Supervise and mentor psychopharmacology providers across integrated care teams, ensuring high standards of care and supporting professional development.
Oversee other prescribers, offering guidance on effective psychopharmacological practices and supporting evidence-based decision-making.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Graduate degree in medicine (MD or DO) or an advanced nursing degree (APRN).

Licensing and Certification:
Licensed and board-certified to practice psychiatry in Massachusetts.
Certification as a psychiatric nurse clinical specialist or psychiatric nurse practitioner in Massachusetts.

Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of prior management experience in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated success in program management, development, and quality improvement.
Experience supervising clinical teams and integrating psychopharmacology services within broader behavioral health and primary care settings.
