Summary:
The main function of an IT project/program manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessments, and contingency plans
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, Customer Support, and other departments involved in the transition process
Conduct regular status meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns or issues
Manage project scope and identify potential risks or deviations from the project plan
Ensure adherence to established budgets, timelines, and quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and senior management
Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure seamless integration and implementation of new systems
Monitor project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly
Train end-users on the new system and facilitate a smooth transition post-implementation
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or customer support environments
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
Strong understanding of customer support systems, including Zendesk, Genesys, Verint and Sprinklr
Experience working with on-premises call center solutions and cloud-based platforms
Expertise in Agile methodologies, functional requirements gathering, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) system transitions
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances
PMP certification or equivalent preferred
