The VP of Client Finance is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the organization's revenue cycle and accounts receivable processes. Reporting to the CFO, this role will focus on operational excellence, particularly within AR processes, and will lead efforts to streamline processes, implement innovative technical solutions, and ensure strong internal controls. As a key leader, the VP will spearhead initiatives to improve financial operations, manage large-scale projects, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance the company's overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revenue Cycle Management: Manage the complete revenue cycle process, including billing, collections, payment applications, and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. Lead and direct the internal AR team to meet deadlines and maintain effective accounts receivable processes.
  • Relationship Management: Foster long-term, positive relationships with clients, ensuring not only accurate financial reporting but also proactive solutions to any client-specific financial challenges or discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the implementation of automated systems and innovative solutions that streamline the accounts receivable function, reduce operational costs, and improve overall process efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Implementation, and other internal teams to drive improvements in revenue cycle processes. Ensure teams are aligned and effectively collaborating to resolve issues and achieve company objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead large-scale initiatives related to the revenue cycle, including process changes, system upgrades, and operational improvements. Manage the execution of these projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
  • Internal Controls and Financial Oversight: Ensure robust internal controls are in place to maintain accurate financial reporting and minimize errors. Monitor and analyze financial performance, working with the CFO to prepare reports and updates related to client accounts and the AR process.
  • Issue Resolution and Problem Solving: Handle complex AR issues, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions. Provide guidance and support to the team in resolving issues efficiently and independently.

Qualifications:
  • Financial Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing high-volume transactions, revenue cycle management, and accounts receivable operations in industries with complex financial processes (e.g., healthcare, insurance, or large-scale service organizations).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams, manage internal and external relationships, and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management: Experience managing large-scale projects related to AR, financial systems, and operational improvements. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery.
  • Process Improvement & Technical Solutions: Expertise in process modernization, system integration, and implementation of technical solutions to enhance operational efficiency. In-depth knowledge of financial controls and best practices to ensure accuracy and compliance in revenue cycle management and accounts receivable processes.
