Job Summary
The Manager, Projects and Reporting is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation of complex enterprise systems. This position will work closely with the Director of Projects and Reporting to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Additionally, the Manager will lead the evaluation and improvement of existing reports within the Operations Services Group and centralize the reporting function to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making

Job Summary
The Manager, Projects and Reporting is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation of complex enterprise systems. This position will work closely with the Director of Projects and Reporting to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Additionally, the Manager will lead the evaluation and improvement of existing reports within the Operations Services Group and centralize the reporting function to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Manage and oversee a variety of complex enterprise system implementations, from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, task lists, and timelines.
- Document current process flows, outlining pain points and future-state deliverables.
- Outlining system requirements for 3rd party implementation partners or in-house IT developers.
- Facilitate functional and end user testing, defect identification and resolution.
- Lead change management efforts to effectively communicate and integrate project changes within business units.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business administration, to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Utilize project management methodologies to monitor and report on project status.
- Report Evaluation and Improvement:
- Analyze current reporting with members of the Operations Services Group to identify opportunities for improvement in terms of accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance report automation, data visualization, and distribution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and requirements and translate these into actionable insights.
- Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create clear and concise reports.
- Integrate reporting capabilities of newly implemented software to determine the best sources for reporting needs.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the reporting analyst.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Set clear expectations and performance goals and provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Additional Considerations/ Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience in project management, specifically software implementations
- Strong understanding of data integrations between systems and data validations
- Experience with SQL and data analysis tools
