Description:
We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technician to join our team. The position involves working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 09:00 to 19:30. The technician will not be required to be on-call or work weekends. During the first two weeks, the schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 16:00.
Daily caseload per technician is more than 15 cases. While first-timers are accepted, applicants must have at least one year of experience. There is no requirement for on-call duty or weekend work. Clinicians will have the flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs, including between the operating room, emergency department, and portable settings.
The role is within a level 1 trauma hospital and involves providing X-ray department support to three different operating room pods, emergency room patients, and floor unit patients. It requires the use of C-Arms, O-arms, and Rad-links, with training provided for the O-arm and Radlink.
Work setting experience is required in outpatient, inpatient, operating room, emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit, and adult intensive care unit. Preferred but not mandatory is experience in a Level I Trauma center or a teaching hospital. Required X-ray procedure experience includes extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, lower extremities, upper extremities, and surgery/C-Arm procedures.
