The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector currently has a career opportunity for a Cybersecurity Manager to support the Air Force.

Leidos has an opening for a Cybersecurity Manager supporting the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) program. The Cybersecurity Program Manager will be responsible to provide leadership, direction, and hands-on management for delivery of mission enabling cybersecurity.

The Cybersecurity Manager is a supervisory role responsible for the success and execution of the cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will lead a talented team of cybersecurity professionals in developing, operating, and maintaining mission critical cybersecurity support. The candidate will lead a portion of the overall AFNCR cybersecurity team, work closely with other program teams, leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure the agency maintains a strong cybersecurity posture.

The Digital Modernization Sector is focused on delivering performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions to include applying cloud-factory and aaS (as a Service) capabilities and integrating commercial products to provide a comprehensive digital engineering approach to IT transformation.

This position requires on-site presence during the workday. The AFNCR Cybersecurity team is spread across Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and the Pentagon, all of which are located in the National Capital Region (NCR). The Cyber PM will be primarily working from JBA but may be required to work remotely, at JBAB, or at the Pentagon from time-to-time to support the needs of the mission.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • The Cybersecurity Manager reports to the Cybersecurity Program Manager and is responsible for the technical performance of the Leidos and Subcontractor staff under their leadership.
  • This position will interface with the customer for management and technical matters and contract-level issues.
  • The successful candidate will provide the planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish operational requirements and manage and oversee cybersecurity activities performed by the assigned teams, including subcontractors, to satisfy the customer contract requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Must hold active DoD Secret clearance or higher, and able to obtain a DoD Top Secret and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of direct staff management experience in delivery of information systems or computer network support services for IT operations.
  • Possess a current DoD 8140 compliant certification, preference is CISSP.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to create and lead a highly motivated and skilled workforce of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Experience with cybersecurity policy oversight and governance.
  • Experience with cybersecurity performance, quality, and inspection metrics.
  • Ability to ensure contract deliverables are provided on schedule and with appropriate accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with quick-response deadlines.
  • Experience managing a high number of personnel to include responsibility for annual performance reviews.
  • Experience with Air Force cybersecurity policies.
  • Experience working in both Classified and Unclassified operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the JFHQ-DODIN Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI).
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous cybersecurity projects.
  • Experience managing a blended team made up of a variety of skillsets, responsibilities, and Leidos/subcontractors.
  • Experience with AFNCR operations.

Pay Range: Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
