Job Summary
The Administrative Supervisor provides administrative oversight of the Department and supports the Executive Director of Care Management and Patient Transition, Assistant Directors, and Management Team. Administrative supervision includes oversight of all office functions for the department, budgets, purchasing, human resources, event planning and booking, and maintaining policies and procedures. The Administrative Supervisor develops and supervises the budget, expenses, payment, oversight of departmental contracts, and manages vendor relationships.
The Administrative Supervisor provides oversight to detailed technical work related to data collection and aggregation; guides or provides analysis and reporting of data to the department and external customers as appropriate. This role provides ongoing training and general support to department staff with systems and workflow issues. The role provides analytical, project management, and strategic support to the Executive Director. This position supervises support and/or professional staff.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $84,400 - $157,400 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- 3 - 5 years of demonstrated progressive leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to learn new applications quickly
- Solid interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising, and counseling to effectively motivate others.
- Solid skills to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify resolutions.
- Solid organizational and customer service skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated skills in employee supervision and HR administration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related area and/or equivalent experience/training
- Solid knowledge of the organization's processes, protocols and procedures with a focus on budget, account and fund management and / or personnel management within labor contract(s) and personnel policy.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques; human resources and risk management planning; accounting and payroll.
