As the Credit and Collections Manager, you will oversee the credit, collection, and cash application functions for FloWorks. You will be accountable for the entire credit granting process, ensuring the consistent application of the company's credit policy, conducting periodic credit reviews for existing customers, and assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers. Your goal will be to optimize the balance between sales and bad debt losses, ensuring that financial risks are managed effectively.

Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
  • Assigns and manages credit limits as well as credit control parameters and review points of all customers in assigned group.
  • Assesses credit and financial risk of assigned portfolio overall and account specific portfolios.
  • Evaluates earning quality and sustainability, debt capacity, asset/liability mix, appropriateness of capital structure and financial management.
  • Meets with key customers to represent the company and ensure compliance with line of business strategic directives.
  • Evaluates risk and secures A/R through the use of lien/bond rights or other appropriate forms of security.
  • Supervises credit personnel, including hiring, training and daily collection activity. Ensures timely communication with customers and management of job queues. Personally handles key customer accounts.
  • Serves as authorized settlement authority to include granting payment plans. Assigns collections to 3rd party as necessary.
  • Prepares and disseminates reports as directed by management.


A must...
  • Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline.
  • Generally 7+ years experience in related field. May require certification.
  • Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
  • Staff management experience.
  • Knowledge of state-specific lien/bond, construction, bankruptcy and related federal laws.
  • CBF/CCE certification preferred.
  • Good understanding of finance.
