- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Innovate and Oversee: Drive the design of cutting-edge mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Balance multiple design projects, aligning goals with customer needs, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate and Improve: Work with manufacturing, procurement, and sales to enhance processes and deliver top-notch ambulances.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who values problem-solving, teamwork, and quality over perfection. Here's what would make you a great fit:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle design/manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership.
- Proficiency in CAD software and a solid understanding of vehicle systems.
Nice to Have (but not required):
- Experience with lean manufacturing or design-for-manufacturability (DFM).
- Familiarity with specialty or emergency vehicles.
- PMP certification or similar credentials (a plus, not a must).
