Geotab is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Business Intelligence who will play a strategic and analytical role responsible for leveraging data to drive operational excellence, supply chain efficiency, and informed decision-making within the organization. What you'll do:

As the Manager, Supply Chain Business Intelligence your key area of responsibility will be translating operational goals into actionable insights, collaborating closely with operational leaders, and implementing innovative business intelligence solutions.
How you'll make an impact
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business intelligence strategy that aligns with the operational and supply chain objectives of the organization.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that accurately measure operational effectiveness, efficiency, and supply chain performance.
  • Design and implement data collection and integration processes to gather relevant data from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and completeness.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools and technologies to analyze operational and supply chain data, identify trends and patterns, and uncover actionable insights.
  • Develop user friendly and interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate operational and supply chain performance insights in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for data management, analytics workflows, and reporting standards.
  • Present findings and recommendations to operational leaders and stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture and enabling informed decision-making.
  • Stay abreast of emerging business intelligence tools, methodologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team of data analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Balance short-term requests with long-term strategic goals, maintaining agility in meeting shifting priorities and business requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational and supply chain data, identifying areas for optimization, and recommending process enhancements.
  • Implement data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Execute the monthly management of the S&OP process, Leading the preparation of a variety of monthly S&OP reports suitable for presentation for senior management, combining demand and supply topics.
What you'll bring to the role

  • 8-10 years in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related domain, with a focus on supply chain operations.
  • 5-8 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong business acumen to clearly define key performance areas, analyze complex data to understand business trends and opportunities to align with business strategies.
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools and technologies such as Google BigQuery, Superset, and Excel/Google Sheets for data visualization and reporting.
  • Proficiency in data pipeline orchestration using Airflow and version control using GitLab.
  • Experience with cloud-based environments like Google Cloud Platform and its tools, such as Cloud Shell, for efficient data management and analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira for tracking tasks, progress, and collaboration within the team.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational processes, performance metrics, and industry best practices, including supply chain management principles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • A passion for driving data-driven decision-making and a commitment to continuous learning and growth.Ability to set a clear direction for the team, aligning goals with broader operational and supply chain strategies. Building and mentoring a high-performing team, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
