Jamesburg Public Schools is seeking an interim/acting administrator. The successful candidate will assist on an as-needed basis with coverage for administrator absences and supporting building needs. The successful candidate will provide temporary administrative and instructional leadership. The interim/acting administrator will assist with the instructional program and school operations to ensure a school climate that fosters the educational, social, and emotional development of each student.

The position is anticipated to be available as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • New Jersey State Certification as a Principal.
  • Minimum of five years' teaching or other certificated education position experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, oral, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Required criminal history check and proof of US citizenship or legal alien status.
  • Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board of Education may deem appropriate.

  • COMPENSATION:
    $400 per day.
