WAGE RANGE: $87,000 - $102,000/annually
JOB SUMMARY: Catholic Charities seeks a detail-orientated and solution-focused people leader, who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally aware to join us as our Director of Supportive Services.
The Director of Supportive Services is responsible for providing strategic, mission-focused leadership in the delivery of resident services across the Housing Division to achieve and maintain excellence in Catholic Charities site-based supportive housing programs. The Director of Supportive Services will create and define the vision of what it means to be trauma-informed, focus on housing first, and be person-centered.
The Director of Supportive Services will also oversee day-to-day resident services, staff management and supervision, team leadership, policy and regulatory compliance, and performance to the approved budget. They are responsible for defining the scope and practice of behavioral health support for adult clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Creates a vision for individual resident service delivery that is trauma-informed, focuses on housing first, and is person-centered. Ensures high quality services and programs that promote housing stability, adherence to policies and procedures, adequate staffing models, sound financial management, and compliance with funder requirements. Develops staff competency and commitment to principles of housing first, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and relationship-based care. Provides guidance and support for handling crisis intervention, conflict mediation among residents, and investigation of critical incidents and resident complaints and concerns. Strategically identifies the needs and gaps in health and supportive services and creates plans to address the gaps, leading the strategy for integrated service delivery across the division. Builds collaborative relationships and a team approach across key community functions to enable integrated service delivery to supportive housing residents across all services provided by internal staff and volunteers. Represents Catholic Charities in the community, collaborating with community partners as required. Supports implementation of new and evolving revenue opportunities including housing stabilization services through Medicaid. Responsible for effective supervision of program staff including hiring, training, coaching, and providing performance management duties. Manages fiscal budget in accordance with program guidelines. Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the relevance, accuracy, and timeliness of data and reporting for purposes of accountability and resident outcomes. Keeps abreast of changes in the field and maintains professional knowledge and training to ensure program success. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Strategically undervalued populations and/or grassroots and/or lived experience with homelessness, trauma, or behavioral health challenges encouraged and welcomed to apply
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services/social service program leadership or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of program management experience.
- Experience with and commitment to harm reduction, housing first philosophies.
- Experience and ability to work with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those who may be experiencing homelessness, substance use disorder and/or mental illness required.
- Preferred experience in program management design and implementation.
- Experience working with community-based coalitions and organizations, community capacity building efforts, and technical experience.
- Strong fiscal planning and budget management experience.
