About the Role

Sectra is seeking a Paralegal to support our sales and contracts teams in Shelton, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring contract compliance, managing documentation, and supporting the legal aspects of our operations. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Paralegal, you will:
  • Prepare, review, and maintain sales and service contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the organization and secure storage of all contract-related documents, maintaining accessible records for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in monitoring contractual obligations and deadlines to ensure compliance, including renewals and terminations.
  • Work closely with sales and contracts teams, providing timely support on contract status, compliance concerns, and terms of service.
  • Conduct research on relevant legal matters to support contract negotiations and internal policy development.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sectra and external parties, addressing inquiries related to contractual terms, documentation, and policies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline contract review and management processes to improve efficiency and minimize risks.

What You Need to Succeed

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certification preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with exposure to sales and/or contract management in a corporate setting
  • Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work out of our Shelton, CT office
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations is a plus
