Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for directing and managing projects from conception through completion. This includes planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The role requires coordination with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals. The position will develop a learning strategy that will transform how we prepare our employees to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing work environment as technology and innovation shape the future of the utility business. The objective is to create a learning platform that embraces employee development, features state-of-the art technology and training methods that supports all learning styles and provides the best training experience at the right time and place. The ultimate goal is to shape the culture of learning around operating excellence, zero harm, the customer experience, and diversity, equity & inclusion.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Ensure that all tasks are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate internal resources and manage System Integrator relationships.
  • Establish an enterprise-wide Learning Governance Strategy
  • Developing the scope, plan, and design of each element of the project
  • Drive the development of digital tools
  • Identifying activities, processes, and systems for improvement
  • Promoting and growing a strong learning culture
  • Enhancing and modeling Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as an integral part of the learning experience
  • Collaborating with our Stakeholder to respond to changing or developing needs for future learning optimization initiatives
  • Track costs and manage budget performance
  • Track activities and manage schedule performance
  • KPIs and Operational Excellence: Contribute to the achievement of the TLC KPIs and operational excellence
  • Project Role: Lead the project by developing and executing a project plan to meet strategic objectives and outcomes
  • Lead in planning and road mapping, including analyzing technology components for vendor support and cybersecurity compliance. Develop strong relationships with Information Technology team to influence positive project outcome
  • Create and nurture relationships with L&I team, TLC team, Employee Hub Team and Organization leads to achieve desired project goals
  • Lead in designing Subsystem end-to-end flow diagrams, use cases, data models and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation. Delivers value through regular releases and frequent customer testing
  • Lead/Supports the post implementation of the Employee Hub Learning Module
  • Proven Learning Agility on new technologies, software, and hardware
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.


Qualifications

Required Education/Experience
  • Master's Degree and minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience Learning, Education, Technology, Project Management, and/or Learning Transformation or
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum eight (8) years of relevant work experience Learning, Education, Technology, Project Management, and/or Learning Transformation
Relevant Work Experience
  • Understanding of Digital learning technologies and the latest multimedia training tools (e.g., VR, AR, eBook, microlearning, etc.) Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to engage and influence senior leadership. Required
  • Proven learning agility to understand and implement new technology. Required
  • Flexibility working on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget. Required
  • Proven Project management Leadership (managing complex projects within schedule and budget) Required
  • Proven Leadership Skills Required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Required
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude. Required
  • Proven skills in Change management. Preferred
  • Proven skills conducting discovery, design and implementation of LMS/Learning Ecosystems. Preferred
  • Knowledge of learning applications including LMS, LXP, content management. Preferred
  • Experience developing digital learning tools including ebook, elearning, videos, learning aids. Preferred
  • Experience with MS SharePoint, streams, teams, power apps and/or forms. Preferred
  • Knowledge of procurement process Preferred
  • Knowledge of PI360 or capital budget oversite Preferred
  • Knowledge of Unifier Preferred
  • Knowledge of BI Preferred
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification. Preferred
  • Experience creating and editing high-quality video content Preferred
  • SharePoint and Forms development experience Preferred
Licenses And Certfications
  • Driver's License Required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred
  • Certified Project Management (CPM) Preferred
Physical Demands
