Everest Technologies is looking for an ATG Team Lead for a large retail client of theirs in Columbus, OH.
Reports to: Manager/Sr Manager Position, Solutions Delivery
Typically works on multiple medium to large ATG eCommerce projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments.
Works on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments.
Coaches and mentors more onshore and offshore contractors.
Required Skills, Experience, Competencies
Design and Develop ATG modules, droplets, extend product catalog, BCC, checkout, Endeca, user profile, cartridges, templates etc. as needed based on the site search requirements. Improve click through rate of site search.
6-8 Years of Java development experience is required.
Design and Develop awesome features such as faceted navigation, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, store locator, social commerce or even Mobile eCommerce applications.
Diagnose and solve technical problems related to multi-channel commerce and ATG implementation.
Write ATG application code that exceeds the defined quality standards.
Monitoring Application Performance as part of the continuous Integration pipeline and identifying performance issues early on in the DevOps model by stress testing under load.
Independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution
Work Experience and education requirements
Overall experience of 6 to 9 years with 2-3 years of ecommerce experience working with one or more commerce packages
Must have worked as ATG Developer or Sr ATG Developer in last 2+ yrs on ecommerce applications of medium to large size.
Expertise in developing application code on ATG Dynamo Framework, ATG Servlet Beans, ATG Repositories, FormHandlers, Extending ATG Profile and Profile Management, Dynamo Messaging System, Transaction Management, Basic knowledge of ATG Scenarios & Personalization Framework.
Deep understanding and exposure in ATG Catalog Organization, Navigation & Search, Pricing & Promotions, Shopping Cart, Purchase Process & and Order Processing pipeline, ATG Catalog Organization, Navigation & Search, Pricing & Promotions, Shopping Cart, Purchase Process & and Order Processing pipeline
Java, J2EE (Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Transactions), Web Services, XML/XSLT, Java script
Experience in working with offshore team model and agile model.
Excellent personal communication
Proven problem solving skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
Experience in using APM tools Dynatrace/AppDynamics.
Expected to work on production support based on the role and program assigned.
Expected to work as on-call support outside planned business and shift hours.
