Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the performance and results of multiple sites and/or multiple functional areas
• You will foster a culture of accountability and collaboration and directs the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility and/or market objectives
• You will manage variations in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost and ensure a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care
• You will direct nursing practice and unit operations and lead the development and implementation of patient throughput strategies, including capacity planning, volume forecasting, patient flow coordination, and admission/discharge planning
• You will participate in the annual budget process, including input into department revenue and expense forecasts, staffing, and supply and equipment needs; monitor department budget performance; identify trends and evaluate variances in relation to established budget

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 3+ years applicable experience required; 5 years preferred
• Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
