Job Summary:

The Manager, Revenue Operations is central to managing the increasing complexities in accounts receivable, data integrity, internal controls, and system integrations. As IT Solutions continues to grow, the Manager, Revenue Operations role will be instrumental in maintaining a streamlined accounts receivable and revenue process and delivering outstanding service to our clients. The Manager, Revenue Operations, is responsible for collaborating with sales, and customer success teams to align with the company's strategic objectives and growth. Responsible for leading and developing a team to ensure seamless operations and superior customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage revenue transaction reconciliation, billing, collections, revenue recognition, commissions and sales tax compliance.
  • Drive process optimization and automation in revenue operations for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, and IT teams to upgrade our finance systems platform and contract management process for GAAP compliance.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Operations teams to integrate new products into our revenue process, ensuring scalability.
  • Generate regular reports, metrics, and insights on revenue operations for management and partners.
  • Document processes and establish key controls for compliance and risk management around the order to cash process including credit, billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, cash application.
  • Calculate, record, and report monthly revenue recognition and commissions journal entries
  • Establish and lead revenue operations team:
  • Responsible for directly managing revenue operations team
  • Serve as key escalation point for issues related to revenue operations functions
  • Support the performance of revenue operations team members
  • Coaches and reviews the performance of all direct reports and ensures that all staff are guided, trained, and developed in order to maximize individual and collective performance.
  • Conducts quarterly and annual performance reviews following the company's standard review process
  • Partners with Controller and HR in identifying top talent and executing retention efforts
  • Collaborates with Controller and HR to recruit and select candidates

  • Knowledgeable in ASC 606 (US GAAP) revenue recognition standards.


Experience

  • 5+ years' of experience in services billing, invoicing, and collections.
  • 2+ years' of experience in a people leadership capacity
  • 2+ years' of experience in an MSP environment
  • 3-5+ years' of experience with ConnectWise
  • Experienced in project management, system design, and implementation.
  • Experience with Net Suite or equivalent ERP software highly preferred


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • CMA or CPA preferred
