Homecare Director of Operations

Position Overview:

The successful candidate is a self-starter, is highly detail-oriented, and can manage, execute, and continuously improve the Home Care (Medicaid) and Waiver operations for the PurposeCare operations in Michigan. The candidate has experience managing a distributed workforce, preferably in the health care setting. The candidate will be responsible for the P&L for the company's Home Care (Medicaid) operations across a specified region. The Director will also be responsible for coordinating operations with any other PurposeCare business operations in their designated markets (e.g. Medicare Home Health or Primary Care). The Director will possess an in-depth knowledge of the Medicaid Home Care and Waiver policies, procedures, and regulations for the state of Michigan.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision of all Home Care (Medicaid & Waiver) operations including but not limited to:
  • Marketing, community relations and outreach
  • Intake and prior authorization
  • HHA Staffing and scheduling
  • Service delivery, visit verification and program compliance.
• Coordinating operations with PurposeCare's Home Care agency(ies) to meet the financial and operational goals of that service line.
• Building and leading a first-class team - both administrative and field based.
• Provide market guidance and expertise in developing strategic plans for the region and state.
• Managing a matrix relationship with human resources, billing, and payroll.
• Developing and managing partnership relationships with referral sources.
• Managing payor relationships and contracts.
• Overseeing integration with new acquisitions.
• Partnering with HR in recruitment and onboarding of all field staff and associates.
• Working with senior leadership to develop annual budget and monthly forecasts.
