As the strategic E-commerce leader, you'll spearhead the management of BuckKnives.com and our entire digital DTC ecosystem, including Amazon.com and adjacent marketplaces. You'll be the architect of a high-performance e-commerce strategy, crafting a seamless customer journey that drives sales, boosts retention, and optimizes profitability. This strategic, data-driven role demands a passionate leader with a knack for user experience, revenue generation, digital analytics, and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Ownership: Take full accountability for the strategy, sales, and profitability of the DTC ecommerce channels, including BuckKnives.com and third-party marketplaces. Establish and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and performance targets.
User Experience (UX) and Site Management: Oversee site administration, including user interface (UI) design, navigation, and performance. Lead initiatives for conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, personalization, and search functionality enhancements to create a best-in-class customer journey.
Digital Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing to align website goals with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email, SMS, and paid media. Lead traffic-driving activities and optimize for ROAS, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
Marketplace Platform Management: Oversee the execution strategies for Amazon and other marketplace channels to increase visibility and sales. Optimize content, SEO, and product listing management across platforms.
Analytics and Insights: Use Google Analytics and other tools to analyze traffic, customer behavior, and sales trends. Generate actionable insights to guide growth strategies, improve conversion rates, and inform decision-making.
Team and Vendor Management: Lead ecommerce team members and manage relationships with third-party vendors and digital marketing partners. Ensure that all project deliverables align with Buck Knives' brand standards and business objectives.
Product and Content Management: Oversee the scheduling, deployment, and optimization of all site content, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives and brand standards. Guide product presentation, category management, and promotional strategies to enhance engagement and conversions.
Performance Reporting: Establish, produce and communicate monthly key metric report outs, key growth drivers, campaign performance, and clearly articulate status and trajectory of ongoing digital business.
Website Enhancement and Maintenance: Partner with internal and external providers for website enhancements and redesigns, focusing on improving site functionality, speed, mobile responsiveness, and UX.
SUPERVISORY
This role will assist in assembling, developing, and overseeing a team of individuals responsible for contributing various inputs to the completion of the overall Website, Marketplace, and E-commerce mission. This role will be responsible for assuring team members have clearly defined goals, deliverable timelines, and execution plans are met to ensure DTC excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field. MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and external partnerships. Experience in strategic planning, project management, and budget allocation.
Technical Skills: Mastery of digital analytics, customer segmentation, tag management, paid advertising, and familiarity with UX/UI best practices.
Digital-first mindset with an ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.

- 5+ years of management experience building, developing, and leading a high performing team
- Proven ability to scale ecommerce operations, integrating advanced technologies like headless commerce and AI-driven personalization.
- Direct experience with Amazon Seller Central and best in class marketplace tactics
- Expert proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO, and CRO strategies. (certifications preferred)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and integrated email/SMS platforms
