This full-time position works directly with the Director of Global HR Policy in the development, editing, maintenance, process improvement, governance, and interpretation of Global and country specific Human Resource (HR) Policies. The work requires general HR and business knowledge gained from education and/or experience and relies on effective collaboration with its many internal stakeholders.

This position is responsible for supporting the Global HR Policy function which includes management of all HR Policies that cover a broad range of HR and general business subjects.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare drafts of proposed, revised or new Policies with exceptional attention to detail and excellence in consolidating, tracking and maintaining various stakeholder input for record-keeping.
Along with the Director of HR Policy, evaluate and recommend content edits for HR Policies submitted for review, approval and publication
Understand and be able to write and explain company Policies and procedures
Responsible for preparing Final Redlines for legal and executive approvals
Serve as internal consultant to Policy owners and contributors on their Policy revisions or development of new Policies
Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity including the development of Policies, practices, and guidelines for the stakeholder
Ability to deliver Policy presentations to legal team and executive approvers of Policies
Analyze proposed new Policy content or revisions to existing Policies, identify and forecast potential conflicts and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action when Policy revisions impact other Policies
Communicate and work collaboratively within the context of a globally diverse environment
Establish relationships with Director of Global Policy and all colleagues as a Policy expert
Organize and prioritize a variety of complex projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in HR, Psychology, Education, Business, Finance or related field, with significant experience in Human Resources
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditation
Problem solving, communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
Demonstrated ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee information
Knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration
Ability to build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers
Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
Exhibit team orientation and positive relationships with all levels of employees
Display an understanding of the company's organizational structure, corporate culture, and business objectives
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
Broad knowledge of internal database applications for designated discipline

Other Job Requirements
Initial work location will be in the office through an agreed upon introductory period. Remote or Hybrid Work may be available for the preferred candidate following the introductory period
Generally favorable indoor office workspace when working in a company designated office
