We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Consultant to split time leading our vulnerability management program as well as supporting clients through technical account management services. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, the ability to technically lead and support vulnerability management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships that will contribute to the overall success of our clients and of the practice.

How you will contribute:

The primary function of this role is to drive service maturity and leadership within the vulnerability management program and be a technical account management resource across all managed security clients. Responsibilities are as follows:
  • Oversee vulnerability management delivery that would include scoping of services, architecture/deployment, scan scheduling, reporting, communications and coordination internally (with RAS2 specifically in support of PCI ASV reporting) and externally with clients, as well as coordination of remediation activities, when needed.
  • Provide service delivery support services as a technical resource for managed services clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted resource to interface with and coordinate follow-up efforts across the managed services team to resolve issues. Provide proactive support and regular check-ins to maintain consistent communication supporting ongoing service delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on service performance, and other relevant metrics to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies, continuously improving our service offerings and processes.
  • Support business development efforts and coordinate with those related teams to identify and pursue upsell opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of experience working within the IT Security field as it relates to vulnerability management, security analysis, or other investigative methodologies, equivalent trainings, or certification
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices. Experience with security tools and platforms used for vulnerability management, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with security toolsets, such as: Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Sentinel One, Microsoft Defender, Cybereason, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, etc.
  • Experience with SIEM technology, such as: Elastic, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.
  • Experience with SOAR technology, such as: Swimlane
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP communications and the OSI model
  • Strong grasp on IT Security methodologies and approaches as well as incident response methodologies
  • Working knowledge of security issues, vulnerabilities, exploits, regulatory and legal changes, and security standards that may impact information security
  • Up to 25% travel

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, Security+, PCI ASV or similar
