Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will report directly to the Director of Financial Reporting in a high-impact role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with contacts throughout the organization, Property Accounting, Corporate Accounting, and Internal audit as well as our subsidiaries and external auditors.
• You will be responsible for assisting in developing, implementing, and managing the external reporting processes for one of the REITs.
• Provide assistance in technical accounting guidance on complex transactions such as acquisitions, legal transactions, impairment, investments.
• Responsible for other non-routine complex business transactions.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3-5 years relevant experience (includes minimum two years in public accounting)
• A certified public accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
• Professional accounting or financial management experience is required.
• Familiarity with the US GAAP and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Hybrid office/remote work schedule
• Working knowledge of Workiva is a plus
